FAQ – Open Call for Knowledge Transfer
- Who Can apply?
- Research institutions & universities
- NGOs
- Innovation hubs, business schools, vocational colleges
- Originating from European Member States or Horizon Europe associated Countries and African Union Member States
- Are consortia allowed?
Yes. Applications may be submitted by single institutions or a small consortium. The consortium is compromised of maximum 3 entities.
- How much funding is available per project?
Each selected project can receive up to €25,000 in funding. A total of 11 grants will be awarded under this call.
- What is the project duration?
Projects must run for 8 to 12 months. The latest possible project end date is December 2027.

All required documents are available in the Open Call section of the STREAMING website. Applicants are strongly advised to read all documents carefully before submitting.
- Is there a regional focus for funding?
Yes. At least 60% of the total funding will support African Third Parties. Women-led organizations and female innovators are especially encouraged to apply.
