STREAMING as a solution: Trade Facilitation, Knowledge Transfer and Sustainability
STREAMING aims to apply the results of basic research to solve problems within the entire African food trade system by strengthening the network among all food system actors. This includes industry, trade systems, farming and entrepreneurs. With this core approach, STREAMING aims to achieve an overall improvement of the African food trade system towards more resilience against external factors such as climate change or conflicts, which addresses SDG2 (zero hunger), SDG3 (good health and wellbeing), SDG12 (responsible consumption and production) and SDG 13 (climate action).

Project Objectives
STREAMING brings together science, business, agriculture and trade to make food trade fairer, more efficient and more sustainable. It supports all stakeholders with financial and technological solutions.
Innovation transfer into practice
Enable an increased innovation transfer into practice with building a strong network among all food system actors, implementing joint innovation hubs in Africa and Europe and integrating relevant Third Party funding.

Raising awareness
Raising awareness among the actors in public health as well as general population to encourage conscious healthy food choices and create motivating drivers for consumers and policymakers through digital platforms.
